I've used Google alerts for a year or two. I have a few different key word searches that are sent to me daily. It works quite well. It will also allow you to see the latest news on whatever you wish to track. I track all new blog and website postings for myofascial release, which keeps me up to date.

I'm unsure how long this has been around, but I just found out about it  ;)

 

See who is searching for you or your massage business, if they are posting good things or bad things, etc., etc.

Rachel...ohhhhhh boy :) I signed up with mindbodyonline too. I have been so busy that i had to put my account on hold for a few months. until i have time to  go thru the training. yea, its kind of a pain :) BUT I have checked around and they are the best one, i think. i will be selling my products on there too. Does anyone have a software program they recommend? I jumped on board with MindBody last month, but am not as thrilled as I expected to be with it by this point... just seems like the setup process is really confusing and time consuming...not sure whether I will see it through to completion.

I just checked out the Islands Software Massage Office Professional, but it doesn't have as many features as MindBody, although seems less complicated because of that too.

Would love to hear what's working/not working in your experience! Thanks!

Here's a question: I'm converting my client files from hefty 3-ring notebooks to the computer, scanning in past SOAP notes, etc, and doing new sessions on an editable SOAP form from Cheri Sohnen-Moe's website. The question: do I need to continue to hang on to the original paper files, or will keeping them scanned into the computer (using DropBox) be sufficient..?
