The brother of one of my teacher's at my school is suffering from compartmental syndrome, both in the arms and legs. He's had surgery weeks ago to separate the muscle layers that were swollen. Well, they haven't gone down at all in his legs. The poor man is in terrible pain, so much so he's dropped 70 lbs! We've done energy work and a little lymphatic drainage-which helped his arms but not his legs. If he doesn't get better soon, he's going to become a double amputee or even die. Are there any techniques that might be used here for pain management and edema?
