Erik, I've recently worked on someone who has a vertebrae C5 (?) that appears to be too far forward . Is there anything with soft tissue work that will allow this to return where it is supposed to be? I'm coming to your class in Nov. to Baltimore. Will you touch on this subject as well?
Most of the people we see today suffer from loss of cervical curve (straight neck). Some call it a forward head posture but one can have a forward posture and have excessive cervical lordosis which is what you're describing, i.e., the apex of the cervical lordosis moving too anterior at C4-5.

The shoulders must first be balanced on the ribcage and the neck on the shoulders and then if the excessive cervical curve is still present, joint stretching facet mobilization and anterior neck work is necessary.

Yep, we'll be discussing this and MUCH more in Baltimore...best to you..ERIK
Thank you Erik, can't wait to see ya in Baltimore then. deb

How much prior experience is needed to take this class? Sounds like it covers some major issues.
Hey Connie:
We recommend three years of experience but we often get participants fresh out of school that are able to pick up most of the material. All presentations include a multi-media production with human dissection and computer animation and plenty of demos.... and 70% hands-on. We like to make each workshop is a fun and educational experience for all...great teaching assistants are also helpful.
