With the recent talk about movies and T.V. shows (or programmes for Stephen), I thought it would be interesting to see lists of people's Ten Favorite Movies.

I'm not asking for the best movies you've seen. I'm talking about the movies that you stop to watch as you're channel surfing, even though you've seen them 20 times already.

Here's my list:

and can i just say...i just finally saw Avatar in the movies. Took my son to see it yesterday in 3D. OMG!!!!!! What an incredible story, movie, tech effects...everything!!!

Office Space (reminds me SOO much of my old jobs)

(oh and tho' it's not a move, anytime Band of Brothers is on I'm hooked, even though I've got the DVD set and I must have seen it at least 6 times already. I can't wait til The Pacific comes out).

And The Fifth Element is definitely on my husbands list - I think it's Milla that he really likes since he's kinda drawn to the Resident Evil films too anytime they're on (and he's really not a big movie watcher).

Watching Milla running around in just a couple of ace bandages is a treat, but the whole cast of The Fifth Element is a delight -- Ian Holm as the overwhelmed priest, Gary Oldman as the villainous Zorg, and even Bruce Willis isn't bad. But Chris Tucker definitely steals every scene he's in.

OMG...how could I forget The Birdcage. That and Bruce Almighty crack me up EVERY time!!!!

boy I bet a psychiatrist would have a field day with us between our studio styles to our movie styles. ;)

It was on the other night when I came home from work and I flopped on the couch. Hubby was watching it, so I sat and watched it for a bit and you're right about Chris Tucker. In fact, I think the scenes he is in get funnier everytime I see them.

Yep, a shrink would probably say I haven't a romantic bone in my body and I'm totally uncreative.
He'd be right.

ALTHOUGH the new batch or breed of romantic comedies aren't bad at all. Knocked Up was funny. As was Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
