Here's some Saturday morning fun for pet owners out there. These are some pictures that have come my way recently:

Hi all ~ Just rolled into town & now I'm taking my first deep breaths while at the computer. Thanks for the good wishes with my becoming-a-Granny experience (or "Nana," as the case may be...in our part of the world it's usually "Mummo" and pronounced "Moo'-Mo"...Finnish for Grandmother...man, that sounds too old-ish for me, I think.) The little guy definately has me besotted & it was really hard to leave there today; but the 5-hour drive home was perfectly wonderful, I caught up on a bunch of episodes of The Moth Radio Hour (on public radio) that I downloaded & put on my iPod before I left.

Lisa, I have first-hand experience with this sort of thing, too...with my younger daughter (she is bipolar) and also with my nephew. Please consider contacting the National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org) for support for yourself in getting through this. Honest, they're wonderful, and you & your family are not alone in struggling with depression or whatever issues apply here. My heart goes out to you & your family because there's not really a way around it, just through it.

Samantha ~ I'm so glad you're back. I'll post something on your topics soon.
Erica ~ You have such an interesting life! Post pix!
Eeris ~ Mazal Tov indeed! Thank you. I had lots of Jewish mothers around me growing up. Wish some of them were still around right now for my daughter...and to spoil her baby. But I learned the lessons well enough, I hope!

Marilyn- Mazal Tov! (hope you know that expression) such good news! even though my girls are way way WAY too young I'm kinda secretly looking forward to holding and spoiling a new baby and then go home to sleep a full night sleep while the parent do the discipline...
Hey Erica- way to go!

Hi Lisa I am so sorry to hear about what you are going through with your daughter. Its so tough. If this is any help- I had a terrible time with my daughter when she was in high school (now 20). It was pretty much a nightmare and my clients kept telling me to hang in there, that its going to get better when she will pass the hormonal teen stage. I thought I lost her forever. But now at 20 we sit together at the coffee store, share our dreams and laugh at ourselves just 2-3 years ago. So my thoughts are with you, hang in there! Give her the support she needs, love her unconditionally but stick to your boundaries
Call or write if you need more support, Eeris

*chuckle* The guy I'm working with was supposed to send me a pic yesterday from our dinking around. I'll be posting it on my Heartfire Massage FB page when I get it.

Erica- You're my hero. My hubby says he requires pictures for proof. :)

Sam- You're dream is your reality! Don't listen to anyone else! Do what you want/need to do. If that involves having another part-time job, so be it. But only if you desire that to be the case. I'll help with the gagging and bagging! ;)

Marissa, don't be so sure. I spent the morning modeling topless for a costuming convention entrance involving skin-tight latex and photo-grade quality imaging. The current top-running theme? Anatomy. Ie, skin faded to show musculature and bone beneath. Good for the costumer, good for the anatomy geek!

The Flagship Rowdy is sinking! It looks as if the real world has caught up with us all for the moment. Such things must be... Pillaging and plundering in days to come. And looking forward to it! I hope you are all doing well.
