i like that idea Marissa. i debating running something like that or the gift certificate promotion. but i figured the gift certificate thing was relevant to the holidays and that i could always run the FB promotion another time. maybe after the holidays when people have little money and NEED massages to destress. :)

EVERYTHING! It deleted my entire business account due to not creating a personal profile. SOB! I created a new one today. Now to get everything up and running again.
Marketing idea: I'm thinking of offering all my clients $5 off their next massage if they "fan" my facebook account? What do you think? That way it gives them something in return and all their friends are seeing my entries on their news feed!??!

Sam, Sam...such a sheltered life :) I'm sure you can stay, but it's not up to me. Probably Lisa is the one to make that decision. I'm one of her FB friends and I don't want to do ANYTHING to get blocked or dropped from her friend list. :):):)

OMG that's screwy!! how much did you lose with your business account???
right now i have my personal profile hooked to my regular profile account info. it didn't give me any other choices. that IS the one risk i'm worried about. i don't want my personal to get mixed up with my business. i might get a lot of misunderstandings!!! :)

FB made me angry yesterday. Lisa, I was posting your page on mine as one of my "favorite" pages to visit and it wanted to create a personal profile. No thank you, and then it deleted my entire FB business account. Now when I try to use my e-mail to start a new business account, it brings up the personal profile. I was using it to post the next days available appointments. That way, all my "fans" would have it on their news feed. You never know if there's any takers! I may or may not choose to do it again. Most of my clients end up going and posting something about the massage anyway. Free publicity!
