Sam, Kid Rock is from my neck of the woods (Romeo, MI), it's our claim to fame (along with Eminem)--they both put on really great concerts. But, country?? whodathunkit!

Marissa, no wonder you're exhausted! Sounds like quite a party, I hope you had help! You have more energy than I, one or two kids is my limit at any given time (just kidding ~ I once was a Girl Scout leader!) Speaking of energy, yup, work is really busy these days...seven tomorrow and three more on Saturday. (Be careful what you ask for! This is like something from a Wayne Dyer seminar.)

Next week we're heading to KY for the WMF, taking a couple classes there, and then on to SC to visit my sis. Is anybody else in this group going to this thing? My husband is fun enough, but it would be good to have a drink or something with one of you Rowdy people. Let me know.
By the way, Lisa, where are you?? Miss ya.

I truly hope that everyone is extremely busy with work... ya know, due to the serious lack of activity on here of late! ME? Last week swamped, this week, not so much... Although I did get the owner of a dance studio on my table today and she is now booked every other Saturday through the summer. Summoning Kevin Costner here with the good old "if you *dream* it...they will come... and book many more massages". :)

We threw my daughter a birthday party yesterday. She turned 5 and so, since it's a "biggie" we went all out. Bounce house, sprinklers, cake, goodie bags, 15 screaming kids running mad all afternoon... Now we have 5 more years to prepare for her next "biggie". 1.3 years for the new guy. Did I mention I'm exhausted?!?!?!

Ty, I truly have nothing to say to that......

Marilyn, I showed Quarter Horses from the time I was 4 until I was in my 20's and loved it. Barrel raced on the side to make money to show, I had a really nice barrel horse. Grew up on the track so it was a natural occupation. Hard hard work, but you can make lots of money!

Ty I worked with Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds and one summer racing mules! That was a trip, recommended only if you are young and still bounce when you hit the ground. :)

Marissa, congrats on the GC! May many more sales come your way.

Vlad, excellent! Very clever.

I am sooooooo excited! I finally sold my first on-line gift certificate. It only took about 6 months to do it....Better late than never!

Hi everyone! Sounds like good times all around on here.
Congrats, Marissa! I think it's true when they say that boys are easier than girls, now that I have some experience with them...this one is sure busy, too!
Erica, sounds like you have lots to celebrate and did it well. Thanks for sharing and letting the rest of us celebrate you, too!
Donna, I agree, horse racing is just the most awesome thing...I ride, too, and spent a few years showing those hot little Morgans: the more adrenalin, the better, for both horse and rider! (At least in the show ring we get to turn them BOTH ways, too)
Both of you "Steves" are a hoot, I always look forward to the laughter. Have a good week.

Marissa congratulations! Being a prude is not bad ;).

Erica, one of these days I am going to make it up your way to see the fire spinning, what a wonderful and exhilarating way to celebrate.

Steve, can't speak for race car drivers, but riding a racehorse is kind of the same, going fast and turning left. There is a sense of being in control and totally out of control at the same time, there is nothing like it! Yeah, I am a little bit crazy and a total adrenaline junkie...

Erica - Happy Anniversary
Ty - your profile pics keep getting even more cool
Marissa - can't wait to hear!
Stephen - the wagon is full of craic (please note spelling, although it wouldn't surprise me if the other sort was on here too).
Here's a wee thing for all you photoshoppers:
