Geesh Sam, I believe that the temp agency has not collected your things YET! Maybe you could talk Bryan into paying them a little visit?

Marissa, the little moose! LMAO Keeping you in thoughts and prayers that the little one soon makes his debut.

Somatic Salsa that would be an idea for a specialty salsa ie one that you sell at massage events. I like Ty's suggestion, you already have the name and could tie it in with the brand recognition.

I like Marilyn's suggestion of Hot Choice too. If you choose that I think the Rowdy's should come up with the ad campaign. I am sure that we could think of a way to incorporate Salsa Hot and Choice. One thing about it, it would be unforgettable!

Erica, not sure exactly where you are in CO, but hope it is far away from the fires. Hope you and yours and the critters are all safe and smoke free.

Hey everyone...wish I had more time to check in more often...but I do get to read up late in the evening. Entertaining is correct!
I do have a plea...There is an event coming up in October in Charlotte that needs massage therapists to perform work on walkers. Its the AvonWalk for Breast Cancer. Its Oct 23-24th (Sat & Sun). I am the team leader for the Massage Team (Steve Traylor did it last year) and I need more therapists! If you know anyone in the Charlotte area that may want to volunteer time on Saturday only, that would be great! This is my tenth year with AvonWalk, the last nine I did with the NYC event. I walked on year, I crewed several and worked on the massage team the last three. Let me know if you are interested. I can be reached here or kevinsmassage@msn.com ! Thanks...be well

Still pregnant. The moose is 8lbs 3oz right now. We're going to induce on the 17th, though the Doc doesn't expect me to last that long. Will notify when it happens!

Gotta say, Bryan, you're a hell of a lot nicer than me! I wouldn't have tried to subdue the SOB. Straight kick to the cojones and a palm up the nose. Sorry boys... I can feel you all cringing and shivering right now. I have no use for idiocy and even less patience for ignorance.

Did I mention that I am also a bitch?!?!? Choice made a comment awhile back about hating people. Believe me, there are days that I'm right there.

Somatic Salsa?

Well, Sam...we have some coyotes howling tonight in the woods for your listening entertainment! Sorry, I have no way to tape them, but you get the idea. Hope your foot is feeling better...would you like some Reiki sent your way?

These coyotes sort of reminded of Erica (Hello, you there in the mountains!) and hoping the brush fires out there aren't affecting you at all. How is the Texas contingent of Rowdy--all y'all got power? Hope everyone had a great weekend, all things considered. It was lovely in Chicago, Greg & I dug our parenting skills out of mothballs and stayed overnight with Dylan (now an active 8 months old) and were reminded that there's a good reason parents must be youthful to pull it off. Take that however you want. ;) More wine, please...

Well, like all the other ladies who appreciate hot stuff, my suggestion was also somewhat intended as ego massage ~ we're well-rounded and creative individuals, so who better than us, after all! Be careful what you ask for. Seriously, I like Ty's observation best. You already have brand recognition and that's a big part of the battle when introducing new product...I think it took YooHoo thirty years or more!

It's always about the flavor....any bozo can make it hot. Even my hot salsa has a great flavor....you can't resist eating bite after bite. Then it's a slow burn and you have an "aahhh" moment. Then you go back to eating more.

Hot Choice could be good but then people wouldn't know if we were talking about salsa or about me...hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.....

Every time I just get a second to entertain myself on the computer, I can't resist checking in...and am never disappointed! This is entertaining, always.

Choice, is your salsa more about the flavour or more about the heat? There's always "Hot Choice"... Good luck, and good for you, well done!

I don't mind confrontation...er, being assertive. Esp when it comes to customer service (or lack of). Ty's right, as I become older (54) it becomes easier. I just don't accept that someone or some company has the right to screw me around. So I've gone after companies like Delta...who finally acknowledged that they did indeed break something of mine and gave me a $150 voucher for my troubles. You have to be firm, persistent and remember that everyone has a boss...you may have to step on a lot of people to get to the person that can make a difference. Make it worth it. Remember how you felt when they, in Sam's case, the restaurant and the company she worked for, made you feel. Use it to fuel the fire......

In other news, my table has picked up dramatically over my chair....interesting. And my salsa is starting to sell to people other than family and friends....yay, just have to think of a name. Play with it Rowdies.

Good morning! ...And good idea, Ty, maybe it's the sort of boost I can use, especially since I'm heading for Chicago this afternoon after my appts and the drivers there seem more hot to ~um ~ trot.

Sam, for most of my life I was accused of being "too nice" and see a lot of myself in what you're saying. Don't think of it as being bitchy, think of it as learning to exercise being Assertive. It might help to locate a copy of The Assertive Woman (and if I explore Amazon right now I'll lose this note, but it's a paperback with Mona Lisa on the cover) It might be a good reference for confidence-building, for those times when you need to deal with life's little confrontations. :) Best of luck...and stay nice.

;) And we're just the women for the job some days! (We must lovingly bring these young ones along...) Sam, please feel free to call me first. I suspect I've had more experience at bitching than the other women here...just ask my husband! Just for today, I'm trying hard not to let it be my M.O. (really hard...it's been a terrible horrible no-good very bad day. Good thing I'm not working.)
