Hey Caitlin, check in your area for the contact information on clubs for runners, cyclist, triathalons, etc. In Lake Charles, we have a group called Lake Area Runners that puts on various events throughout the year. Your local United Way may sponsor a Golf Classic Fundraiser - its a great event to meet people and they usually would love to have a therapist donate some preevent sportsmassage to the pros and players. Also, local Cancer societies will do benefit walks and runs. Just check with them, watch your local morning shows, and read the local paper for more info on whats going on in the community..

Hello ms. Perkins!! I live in LC and I do volunteer at some events. I have one to do tomorrow (3-13-10) in Sulphur. But as far as Lafayette I dont know of any but because I am kind of in the circle with a few ppl, I can be sure to get you some information about some things in the Lafayette area
