so how do i find out how much health insurances would pay per unit/ hour, if they cover LMT services? which one is known for paying an ok amount and for which one is it not even worth it to bill (with all the extra paperwork involved).

I believe it is different for every LMT but a general outline would be so helpful...

Thanks for any input on this!

Each company and each plan are different.  You just have to call each one of them to find out.  I am starting an online networking forum to start gathering info like this at my site www.massagepracticebuilder.com/forum

I am still working on some of the settings and I only just started it yesterday but you can create a login at http://massagepracticebuilder.com/wishlist-member/?reg=1301175988

thanks

I am an approved provider with the American Specialty Health (ASH) Network. Between my clients' copay and what ASH covers, I only get $15 LESS than my standard rates for a 60min. session. I don't have very many ASH clients, so it's not too much of a loss. I also think of it as being one more source for generating new clients and each new client is, of course, a new seed in the community that can spread the word about my services/style/etc.
