I so wish I had found this earlier in my class. StudyStack.com allows you to 1. use other people's index cards if they are set to public. and 2. create your own cards from your own assignments to study. 3. Use your study cards in games such as matching, hangman, crossword puzzles, and more 4. has aps that can access your study cards from just about any mobile device.

Obviously it has been around for a while as there are literally 1000's of Massage Therapy stacks already made and shared. But I would be remiss, if I didn't share it with others now that I found it.

This seems like it might be a great resource. (Although I have to say that the act of creating your own flashcards is the best learning activity.) I'm starting a kinesiology class soon and I'll see what the students think of it. Thanks!
I totally agree. Making your own cards is very important to the learning process.

The neat thing about this site, though, is after you have created your own cards, it will withdraw the information you entered to create games to help you master that set of cards. You can also print out your cards in the form of cards or charts.

I just like the fact that you can see what others have created for cards as well. When it comes to time to study for the boards, you might find something that you weren't given ... I started playing with it this weekend when I found it because I was between classes. :D
Thanks so much Jennifer! What a great tip! I
Hello Jennifer,
This sounds like a great resource, thanks for sharing! I agree with you and Alexei that making your own cards is completely the best way to learn if index cards work for you. However, I also agree with the point made regarding seeing what other sets contain, in case there is information you've missed or weren't given.
I'm finding that looking at as many resources as I can gives me a great perspective for class.
Thanks again for sharing! =)

Another good one that I've found recently is www.studyblue.com. Theyhave an iphone and android app that tracks your progress and reminds you to study as well as studying ont he website. One of the most useful features for me is that you can add your school and your classmates can join and share homework, study materials and flash cards.
