You will find the Contemporary Cupping Methods scheduled all over the US (Maui is scheduled for February 25 - 27) and several dates in Canada.

We are offering several Advanced Cupping Techniques classes in 2012 which will be 2 days of 90% hands on - 15 different treatments for Orthopedic, Sports and Stubborn Conditions.

i practice and also teach massage therapy on Maui. i practice in an chiropractor's office and the economy is not improving. visitor counts are up a little over last year (which was down), but the visitors are spending less, and that translates into very lean times.

Thanks JJS. I do have my A&P and Pathology hours but not kinesiology, guess I should start looking into classes.
So do you work independently or for someone else? How is the job market out there?

Aloha Carolyn ~ Hawaii requires 570 hours (http://hawaii.gov/dcca/pvl/boards/massage/application_publications/...) and a written exam. Do you have your A&P, kinesiology and pathology hours?

Aloha all! I currently live in California and was wondering what the requirements were to work as an MT in Maui as I'm toying with the idea of moving there. Any tips and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
