"Defending your life" by Albert Brooks.
I was able to see Dirty Dancing 2 1/2 times yesterday. I know it is getting close to 100 times now that I have seen that favorite line "No one puts Baby in a corner." Oh I just love it each and every time.

My all time favorite movie is "Dirty Dancing". I have seen it a hundred times. Well maybe 50 times. I just love the scene at the end where Patrick comes walking and in Says, "No One puts Baby in a Corner". I always say to myself, thats right. Go get em. It seems all my life I have fought to come out of the corner because people keep shoving me back in the corner. So because of that reason I love that movie. My second most favorite is Sound of Music.
Did anyone see "Everything Is Illuminated"??
The Sound of Music is on tonight on ABC 6-10 PM Central time. How could I be so lucky as to have my two most favorite movies on for the Holidays.

I just love the Odd Couple with Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. Not sure why I find it inspirational. Perhaps because Jack Lemmon starts off trying to comit suicide and things get turned around for him just by sharing the flat with his friend. I also love The Mirror Has Two Faces too. No matter how old you are, there's always room to find love in your life. I have to admit that I'm also a fan of those war movies that suggest triumph over adversity, such as The Great Escape and Kelley's heros. I just have to hear some of the soundtrack and I think hey, anything's posible!

Oooo, I'm loving life right now :)

One of my faourites is The Notebook. It takes several Kleenex, but it's about the power of lasting love

There have been a lot of wicked movies that have been such an inspiration. Karate Kid (The original) & the most recent one come to mind. I love stories that show how an underdog with hard work & commitment, even though faced with uneven odds can triumph.
Thanks, Fiona!!!
