I am working on an art project that incorporates paint in massage. I believe each massage is unique to the therapist and client in that moment and my vision is to capture the evolution of that massage, the expression of self and to see the strokes unfold. I and a photographer friend are working on this project and was curious to see if anyone was interested in participating and/or could offer up space for us to do this in. Thanks :)
This is a great website! it brings everyone together in community...online. The only problem I have with this is that massage therapists are individuals who thrive off of human relationships, human contact and interaction! we should be meeting and fostering community in the REAL WORLD! which, is why I am proposing just that. Myself and a colleague are proposing for massage therapists in the DC metro area to come together to discuss everything related and regarding massage, to go beyond discussion and interact learning from each other, sharing techniques and strategies, or simply meeting up with like minded souls to be apart of something amazing.
The field of massage is growing...slowly, it needs a spark to ignite it. I am passionate about building and fostering a community of massage therapists that are passionate about what they do as well. If you are interested let me know! contact me through here, find me on facebook, e-mail me at work : smaziejka@bodydynamicsinc.com, or call me 703-201-3100.
This needs to happen and its going to happen, the only question you have to ask yourself is are you ready!?

This is a true workshop, limited to 12 participants. Yes, you will get lots of information about designing your class, marketing it, and actually teaching it. But you will also put what you learn to use right in this workshop. Come prepared to write syllabi, learning objectives and lesson plans for your class, actually try out part of your presentation with your classmates, prepare a written plan for implementation of your marketing strategy, decide what level of certification is right for you, and if it is National Certification, actually begin to fill out the NCBTMB application at the end of the class. The learning you will get in this class will apply to all state agency requirements, and even other disciplines.

Hi,
My name is Yaw. I'm the Program Coordinator for Body Biz Inc., a company that provides wellness services to businesses. I'm in the process of staffing in the Virginia area, specifically Fredericksburg and Stafford. I am looking to hire licensed massage therapists to staff these locations.
If you would be interested, please email me at bodybiz@bodybizinc.com and express your interest, share a bit of your background and we'll take it from there.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Ciao,
Yaw.
I am offering two unique workshops in nearby Charleston WV in June. The first, Indian Champissage™ (Head Massage) is a 3-day course for 21 CE hours. The second, Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™, is a 1-day course for 7 CE hours. Both courses are NCBTMB approved (450489-07) and FL approved (50-10661).
What: Indian Champissage™ (Head Massage)
When: June 3-5 (Fri/Sat/Sun) 9:00 - 5:00 each day
Where: Sleep Inn & Suites, 15 Goff Crossing Dr., Cross Lanes WV 25313
Indian Champissage™ has been popular in India for over a thousand years. The head, neck, shoulders and upper back - areas where tension is more likely to accumulate - are gently, firmly and rhythmically massaged until the pressure simply melts away. This unique therapy combines physical and subtle massage with energy balancing to produce feelings of perfect peace. It is a wonderful alternative to seated chair massage.
What: Kansa Vatki Foot Massage
When: June 6 (Mon) 9:00 - 5:00
Where: Sleep Inn & Suites, 15 Goff Crossing Dr., Cross Lanes WV 25313
Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ is a beautiful and relaxing healthcare modality which balances the body, mind and spirit. This unique treatment, steeped in centuries of Ayurvedic ceremony, incorporates ghee (clarified butter). The heart of the treatment involves vigorously rubbing the soles of the feet with a
3-metal bowl to draw heat and toxins out of the body thereby inducing tremendous relaxation. The Kansa Vatki Foot Massage™ is deeply revitalizing for tired feet and legs, and it makes a perfect addition to reflexology.
