Rick,
Thanks for your feedback. I am in contact with another MT, who will allow me to work on her so I can receive feedback. I definitely plan to get my table out. I know some family and friends who are excited to be practiced on.

Hello fellow Virginia MTs!!
I recently (last friday to be exact) passed the NCBTMB. I am thrilled to finally be able to start working as a massage therapist.
I was curious if anyone has suggestions on how to get the ball rolling. I honestly have not given massages in a while, so I need some practice before going for interviews. But, Im lookin for any advice
Hi there Virginia!
Are you enjoying your edition of the Virginia PERG (Professional Education & Resource Guide)? I am the publisher, and so far I've received some calls and e-mails from therapists who like it a lot. And calls from more Continuing Education Providers who plan to advertise in the Fall Edition, which comes out in July. If you are licensed in Virginia, you should all have received the booklet in the mail by now. Let me know what you think! You can also download a copy at www.proedresourceguide.com.

I may be able to help you out with that Karen. I am located near the Greater Richmond Area. My wife and I own The Amethyst Garde www.theamethystgarden.com where part of my practice is located. I've been looking into LomiLomi and am interested in the art. Please contact me with your specific needs and we'll talk about how we might be able to help.
Aloha Group,
I'm looking for someone who'd like to sponsor a LomiLomi Training in Virginia. NCBTMB approved CE Hours. This isn't the typical lomilomi training that has spread across the U.S. This training takes you to the roots and truth of Temple Style Lomilomi, the cause and effect of true healing through Hawaiian values, and empowers you with knowledge and understanding. We explore the new age interpretations, traditional concepts so you can offer the world the best of both! Sponsor takes the training at no cost. Anyone interested?
Also....the North Virginia AMTA Unit meeting and seminar "Introduction to Chakra Balancing and Healthy Living" is December 8th from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm in Winchester. You don't have to be a member to attend. If you are interested, email me for more details at padipatti@gmail.com.
You need to be a member of Virginia Massage Therapists to add comments!
