Orthoflexology - Structural Reflex Science

Orthoflexology is a structural reflex science. Orthoflexology will facilitate the healing potential by returning muscle, bony landmarks, and articulations to their normal R.O.M., combined with the unblocking of the reflex terminals in the feet.

ASEA Balance for Better Health and Better Living!!!

Please visit: www.teamasea.com/orthoflex ,to purchase ASEA, or to learn more about the opportunities available to you and to become part of an advancing science that is sure to optimally change the way we look at healthcare forever.

ASEA: What the science shows!

1. Enhancement of Body's Antioxidants.
The body produces its own extremely potent antioxidants, including superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione. Many experts feel these antioxidants are far superior to the antioxidant compounds taken into the body through the diet. A recent study found that ASEA can boost the efficiency of those antioxidants by approximately 500% - a tremendous increase.

2. Reduction of Oxidative Stress.
The same study found that exposing cells to ASEA helped increase the uptake of antioxidants into the cells while minimizing the production of inflammatory compounds, which typically occurs in this process.

3. Safety and Toxicity.
A recent investigation showed that exposure of cells to high levels of ASEA resulted in absolutely no toxicity or even inflammatory response.

4. Athletic Performance.
Testing on athletes has revealed significant benefits of ASEA when it comes to physical activity. The test results demonstrated that ASEA can instigate a higher power output in athletes without crossing the ventilatory threshold (VT) which produces fatigue. This means ASEA allows athletes to be active longer at the same power burn, or to operate at a higher power burn than possible before ASEA.

How ASEA Works:
The mitochondria are the power house of the cell or the power generating factory, as part of that process, there are molecules that are produced as by products, these molecules are called reactive oxygen species (ROS), and these are the molecules that make up the Redox Signaling System.

Whats important is that that these molecules are balanced. A person overall health condition or cellular condition could dictate how "many" or "few" of these molecules are produced. When these molecules are not balanced they become dangerous to the cell, cells that are out of balance produce molecules that don’t have a paired electron around the nucleus, these molecules need to be neutralized, this is accomplished by antioxidants, well those antioxidants can't work unless they become activated by this Redox Signaling System. What ASEA does is balance this system; it sees to it that the antioxidants become activated.

Every person, every plant, every animal basically has ASEA running through them, in other words ASEA is "native" to the body. ASEA helps facilitate the optimal functioning of the trillions of cells within our bodies.

ASEA has the ability through several redox signaling molecules to go into the cell and repair whatever cell damage has been done, and to create optimal efficiency within the cell. All forms of life use redox signaling messengers in order to repair themselves.

When a cell becomes damaged there are certain messengers sent out, they are called oxidative stress messengers, those messengers are able to tell the tissue that something is wrong, the tissue is able to respond by a variety of different methods, one of which will increase antioxidant production. The cell will first try to repair itself, if the cell is unable to repair itself; it will destroy itself, and will be replaced by surrounding healthy cells that will duplicate themselves to replace the missing cell(s).

This protection, detection, repair and replace mechanism is absolutely fundamental to all life.

Brenda and I are excited to offer our new orthoflexology classes this year. These classes will significantly enhance your clients treatment outcome. We try to keep our courses reasonably priced as we are well aware of the difficult financial times we live in. We also believe from our own experience that "the more we learn the more we earn".

If you have trained with us before you are very aware of what we bring to our courses. If you have not trained with us, we strongly encourage you to think about adding one of these trainings to your manual medicine tool box. Brenda and I look forward to seeing all of you, in 2010, at one of our courses listed below!!!

Orthoflexology is an amazing treatment protocol of the future. Orthoflexology provides the precision of an osteopath, as well as the skills of Soft tissue-chiropractic, acupuncture, zone therapy, orthopedic therapy and reflexology.
Orthoflexology uses the principles of manual medicine to provide one of the most fascinating and diverse treatments available in the world today. A person trained in orthoflexology is able to treat virtually any problem or condition; this includes 93% of the ailments in the world today.

An orthoflexologist will assess anatomical (Bony) landmarks, range of motion, acupuncture alarm points, tender or trigger points, reflex tenderness to determine the best treatment protocol for the individual. An orthoflexologist uses a wide variety of techniques to bring the body back into a state of "neutral" or balance, some of the techniques include: M.E.T, zone line manipulation, golgi tendon organ release, reflex stimulation in the feet, just to name a few.

We invite you to take a look at one of the amazing modalities of the future. Orthoflexology will empower the practitioner with a multitude of effective modalities that will greatly increase the potential for an optimal desired outcome.
We invite you to come and experience our orthoflexology training so you can accelerate the healing potential with minimal effort and maximum results.

I was training a group of therapists at a spa in Jacksonville 2 weeks ago. The front desk agent was complaining about discomfort in her left shoulder an neck area, she also mentioned she had a headache on the left temporal/frontal area.

As she was standing at her post I asked her if I could bend a few zone lines and tendons to relieve her challenge, she said that would be great. I focused on the left levator scapula, left trap, left supraspinatus, left SCM, Left rectis capitus posterior major, as well as a few 4th layer muscles in the lamina groove, left cervical area. Total treatment time was about 7 minutes. The result?

All discomfort as well as the headache was completely gone!

Using just a few techniques in the orthoflexology protocol enabled us to improve the quality of life of this agent in just a few minutes.

It is exciting to see outcomes like this. We are so privelaged to be in a position to help others in such a unique way!!!

I had a lady come into the office last week with left knee, and left hip discomfort, she was also unable to flex her hip and extend her knee, she said it felt unstable, like it was going to give out at any moment. This lady also told me she had been through knee replacement surgery and she was concerned that something was malfunctioning.

I had tried a few different approaches manually on the associated tissues with little or no improvement. I reasoned in my mind that the communication had broken down some where from the spine to the knee.

At this point I chose to work on the reflex areas of her left foot, pelvic/hip, lumbar/sacral. After 5-10 minutes on the left foot I asked her to try and flex her hip, and to her suprise she was able to flex her hip with no problems, I asked her to extend her knee and she was also able to extend her knee with no problems. I continued to work on that left foot for another 15 minutes. It has been a month now and she still doing fine.

It still amazes me, yes, the reflexes in the feet and their profound influence on the body. If all else fails, the science of reflexology has demonstrated the unique ability to increase circulation to targeted tissues resulting in significant relief for the receiver.

What if you could turn off tender points within the body using reflexes, and what if you could do this time and time again, and to make this seem even sweeter what if you could do it pain free within 30 seconds. This would truly be something to pay attention too. Curious??? Stay tuned!

Do you know someone with foot pain? Try releasing all the tight muscle/tendon structures from the knee down, both posteriorly and anteriorly, then create movement within the foot itself with the intention of spontaneously aligning the bones of the foot, there are several techniques to do this, one of these being the spinal twister. Grab the medial instep of the foot with both hands, thumbs on the plantar surface, eight fingers on the dorsal surface. You will twist the foot back and forth with each hand moving in the opposite direction of the other. Often you will hear and feel a spontanious alignment. Try this one out.
This is just one technique, other techniques may need to be used in order to free the person from discomfort, such as the metetarsal push and pull. Stay tuned for more info!!!

Hi Carolyn,

Thank you for your question. I have seen people consistently get relief from I.B.S in a very short period of time. You will want to focus on area described previously and work your way gently into the reflexes, but work your way up to the pressure that hurts good. Focus your work in the area for 10 minutes on both feet, working in multiple angles and directions, seek out the tender points and work them out reflexively. You will be rewarded for your efforts, many get great relief the first treatment. 3-6 ten minutes treatments focused intently will provide significant improvement, with some, symptoms are eliminated. One question we can ask each individual is "Are you willing to be a participant in your own wellness"?
Dietary factors may play a role as well, and of course stress. I hope this is helpful.

Respectfully,

Scott -- love your website and information! Regarding the IBS, you say "10 minutes on both feet". Is this 10 minutes per foot? Thanks.

Do you know someone suffering from I.B.S. Look to the arches of the feet for relief.
As you palpate down the lateral edge of each foot you will notice a bony prominence about half way down the foot, this is the tuberosity of the fifth metetarsal. If you were to vision an imaginary line running from the lateral edge to the medial edge of the foot, you would be looking at the waistline guideline. From the waistline guidline to the pelvis heel line( where the distal calcaneous starts) you would find the intestinal reflex areas of the feet. This is the area you will look to reflexively, to facilitate relief for those suffering with I.B.S. Generally speaking you would spend about 10 minutes in this area on both feet with your compressive thumb walking technique. You can look forward to some amazing results as you continue to work the tenderness out of the feet.

Do you know someone suffering from asthma? Look to the balls of the feet as well as the dorsal aspect of each foot in-between the 5 metetarsal bones.
As you use your compressive thumb and finger walking techniques in the areas mentioned above you will be able to provide the asthma sufferer relief from their symptoms. I have seen individuals who used their inhaler 2x per day, use no inhaler for a whole week. You may also provide structural relief by lengthening psoas, pec major/pec minor, subscapularis, as well as fascial work on the front line. Seem unreasonable? Try this one out!! You may be surprised at the results.
