By performing a standing flexion test you are able to determine the iliosacral imbalance based upon which P.S.I.S. elevates during the flexion motion. By performing a seated flexion test you are able to determine the sacroiliac imbalance based upon which P.S.I.S. elevates during the flexion motion. These 2 tests will help you create the appropriate protocol for the dysfunction that is present.

A reflexive thought on shoulder discomfort. When a client presents shoulder discomfort in your office, consider using a shoulder reflex technique along with the modalities you are currently using and watch your results accelerate.
The shoulder reflex is located in-between the 4th & 5th metetarals in the lateral ball of the foot just medial to the little toe joint. If a client is presenting right shoulder discomfort you can be sure that the right shoulder reflex will be very tender. The reflexive treatment protocol would be to simply work the tenderness out of the right shoulder reflex. Start out gently and work the shoulder reflex for 2-4 minutes and then leave it alone for 2-3 minutes, return to the reflex area with a bit more pressure for 2-4 more minutes and then leave it alone for 2-3 minutes continue this cycle until you have minimized the discomfort significantly.

I remember a recent student who was unable to raise her right arm above her head with out intense discomfort. I worked on her right shoulder reflex for 20 minutes using the protocol desrcibed above. The result?

She was 100% pain free in in 20 minutes!!

Go to orthoflexology.com watch the little 4.5 minute video(Its free) and it will show you how to perform your thumb walking technique and how to treat your hip and pelvic area reflex. work on the left foot around the lateral malleolus as the video will show you. work the tenderness out of that section of your foot and your hip will feel better..

I have been fighting for two days now an illio psoas/sciatic problem. It feels like my left hip is about to come apart and my quads burn constantly, wish there was soebody near me that could help

Another thought on low back discomfort. By working directly on the spinal reflexes such as cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral, tailbone reflexes you are able to create an analgesic affect, as well as release and bombard the vertebral complex with a greater volume of blood supply. 80% of your time should be focused on the direct reflexes such as the lumbar and sacral reflexes.
It is not uncommon to completely remove all discomfort within 20 minutes of using this reflex technique.

Try this one out and see for your self!!!

Perhaps you have a person presenting low back discomfort. By assessing the bony landmarks such as the PSIS in the horizontal plane, the ASIS in the horizontal, mid-sagital and coronal planes, the sacral base, the inferior lateral angle, the crest height, the pubic bones as well as the transverse processes in the lumbar vertebra, you are able to to gain the insight into the structural imbalance in the pelvic area and provide the appropriate techniques to return the body to balance or neutral.

This should help greatly in many cases of low back discomfort.
