Hi Jenni,

Take a look at our website for some helpful tips and ideas! Since you are close to a food pantry, you can encourage your clients to bring some canned food with them to their appointments with you during massage week (July 15-21). In the past, we have had participants offer their clients $5 off their massage session, if they donate 5 cans of food (or whatever you would like to say). You can set up a collection box and at the end of the week, bring that down to the food pantry. You can also offer the food pantry volunteers a discount on your massages that week. Not much promotion needed, just print out some coupons and postcards from our website and start handing them out to clients. You can also start reminding clients to pre-book their appointments with you for that week, as your schedule might fill up due to the great promotion you are offering. This will give you another chance to let them know about your promotion and get into your schedule early! :) I hope this helps, otherwise, maybe someone else in the group has some other suggestions for you!

Possibly. I've pondered it just about every year, but never seem to get myself organized in time to make use of the opportunity. My youngest son's birthday is the 15th, and we often have a family reunion trip in late July too that really makes it too difficult to incorporate this. That trip isn't until the end of August this year though, so maybe I will be able to this year! Now...to figure out WHAT I want to do!!

Hi Hannah!  No, I have never participated before and I am interested in learning more about it. I do very little promotion for my business, and there is a food pantry on the corner near my massage studio....
