I guess, the slowness in summer affects our community in general :( I'm retired military so I have something to fall back on, but it's nice to have clients and have some extra "change"! Let's keep our fingers crossed for both of us - for an abundance of clients starting soon! I live in Ocean Beach/Point Loma area (go to my website under Contact Me). I've been a soloist and need to approach chiropractors, dentists, other doctors and form partnerships. There's also gyms, dance studios, etc. I can introduce myself to as well. I've been trying to work with small businesses to work with their employees after they get injured but prefer before they get injured. I've been doing health talks in the community for clients. Now working wellness programs for organizations as a speaker and maybe get clients via my presentations. It's not taken off yet, but I do have a lunch appointment with a military command to discuss some ideas. So maybe these are ideas for you to play with in FL...
Too funny, I'm from FL, Mt Dora area, but not going back! In San Diego, there are so many practitioners here along with "the economy", business has been slower than normal, and it's summer time, too. I'm hoping the fall will bring in more people again. How about your practice? Are you getting a constant flow of clients?
