No joint problems here as yet and I am into my third year. i do all kinds of hand and arm and finger stretches most days. I can say my knuckles crack much easier though. I also use Tei-Fu Massage Lotion from Nature's Sunshine on my hands so they do not get sore. I like it much better than Biofreeze.
