Ok, back to massage related issues. I’ve been very busy lately, even yesterday on Sunday I performed a full day of massage sessions, so I figured I’d attempt to write a bit about it. Life experiences come in all shapes and sizes. I’ve learned and experienced a great deal from Ki Aikido, and have done my best to apply what I have learned to my life, and in training to becoming a more proficient, efficient and effective…Continue

Once again, the dancing bear can sit still no longer. (Me.) I was going to let it go, until a client of mine, an ER MD who works in countries around the world poked me about this topic as she often does, in regards to the massage industry’s reactionary behavior on issues of little matter. It may seem paradoxical to include martial arts practice as an important aspect to being a massage therapist. When we think of the martial arts, words such as, ‘opponent’ ‘defeat’, and ‘against’ often come to mind.
However, aikido differs from disciplines such as…Continue

Hello Kris, Thanks for the request. I am a student preparing to graduate in May. I joined this site to keep updated on the profession, and network as well. Have a great day!
Hi Kris!!! Like everyone else I see thank you for the awesome thought of networking across the world and not just around the corner. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Very nice to meet you too Kris. Warmest wishes from Southern California.
Not a problem, I too will be looking for Massage Therapist from all around. I think it is important to network and stay up to date on all the news and techniques that others may have. I graduated from school in 2010 and I am getting ready to send in my application to take the national cert test - have you already taken your test?
