Most techniques out there are about pain spots and pressure. Many massage therapists are not familiar with the muscles names and actions when they primarily do spa massage work, but massage is more powerful than just a 'feel good' service.
Every kind of massage has its benefits, but my favorite benefit about Critz Technique is its easy on my body. Over the years I have seen many folks with painful spots and I enjoy understanding and being able to explain to my customer where the pain is originating from, and how to correct the activity and what homework they can do to maintain for that activity so they can be pain free.
I have more repeat business and loyal customers that send me their whole family and all their co-workers, because I know the muscle names, I'm familiar with how the muscles work, but more importantly, how the muscles interact with the bones and each other.
For all this and more, I have to say "Thanks Mike, I'm pain free and my business is thriving!"
