This week is a big week in the world of massage therapy research.
It's the Massage Therapy Foundation's "Highlighting Massage Therapy In CIM Research" conference in Seattle and yours truly will be heading there on Wednesday.
Looking a the line-up for the conference, I can tell it's going to be "brain-saturation" time.
The workshops they're have some big names including the Julie Ann Day, Whitney Lowe and Leon Chiatow. Some of the Keynote speakers include Helene Langevin and Josephine Briggs. Glenn Hymel will be moderating one of the panel presentations. By the way, I should admit something. Glenn Hymel is like a rockstar to me. If you've read his book and you've got a she-geek (or he-geek) mentality, you'll understand why he is higher up on the rockstar scale than Bono to me.
Martha Menard will also be moderating one of the break out sessions. I've read her book too and she has written many informative articles on research literacy. Also, Doc Moyer will be Moderating a Survey of
Case Reports, one of which will be a report from Kim Goral. I'm looking forward to that and I'm also looking forward to meeting both Kim and Doc for a natter and to check out Doc's hair in real life. Is it really as groovy as it looks in the photos? More info to follow...
There are around 26 posters being presented. I've got some of them highlighted that I want to check out. One of them is on a Case Report on Improving Mobility in a Client with Hypochondroplasia (Dwarfism) and another one is....CONTINUE
