Table Time!

Now that I've got my own table, I feel like a "real" MT student! Thank goodness for tax rebate checks and my Sierra Comfort rep Cassidy. I am so glad I found a private distributer in Los Angeles, I was terrified of having to buy a table online. Luckily, Cassidy let me hop on (with a friend) and test drive the tables before I decided. I did every weight bearing move I could think of and it was damn sturdy.

While I am IN LOVE with Astra-lite, it was a bit out of my budget as I've still got a handful of tuition payments coming up. So, I got the best I could get for my cash, a few bolsters, arm extensions, and an arm shelf too! The table padding isn't as thick as I'd ideally like it to be, but it's not uncomfortable by any means. Plus, I can now pick out cute sheets and a great sheepskin cover to make it more soft.

Test runs to come this weekend... so far I have a very skinny tall teacher and a huge muscle-y football player as my first clients. I'll definitely see how well the table hold up with those two!
