Some women are attracted to brains, others to brawn. Me? Nothing’s better than a great pair of sideburns on a man. That is… until now.
We all have a things we look for in the opposite sex, traits we size up within mere moments of seeing or meeting someone new. They don’t necessarily have to be sexual and often cannot be clearly defined; “I can’t put my finger on it…” and “There’s just something about him/her…” are typical reactions.
I happen to love sideburns. Long beautiful sideburns that are well groomed and defined definitely seal the deal for me! I’ve found another love though… scapulas. Until I studied this much A&P, I never realized how amazing scapulas are. They are rather obvious bones, poking out at odd angles as we try to scratch that infamous mid-upper-thoracic back itch or put on sunscreen by ourselves, but rarely do we ever think about them.
The other day in class we were working on some of the finer points of the back routine. We went a lot deeper around the scapulas, releasing tension in the area and loosening the surrounding tissues. If I thought the carving stroke around the medial scapula was cool, the actual ‘hook and move’ scapula stroke blew my mind!
Now I find myself unconsciously daydreaming about finding that perfect pair of scapulas. You know, the pair that melts under your touch and moves as it pleases. And hey, if they’re attached to a great pair of sideburns, all the better!
