How many of you use body treatments such as mud, herbal wraps or scrubs  on clients? or on yourself?  I have always believed in them and I LOVE them, also I handmake them.

How many of you handmake yours? or do you buy from a massage store?

We are having a SALE buy 1 get 1 FREE ! www.brisil.etsy.com Sale ends this Sunday 10/3/2010.

I am interested in knowing what you all think, because i have heard alot of spa stories as far as products and treatments go.

thanks!!

Silvana- I am not sure about scrubs but htere is a good body wrap that is a detoxifier-- based on vitamin B which dilates the blood vessles to allow blood to flow better and remove the toxins that can accumulate in adipose tissue (which is not well vascularized and attracts toxins- especially radiation and it needs all the help it can get in clearing.) The wrap is my Mlis company. http://www.mlis.com/
I work at a spa and we use a themed sugar scrub for each season (ie. pumpkin, gingerbread, mojito, etc.) We purchase our products from Bidwell Botanicals. I have never used a scrub from anywhere else so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I love their products nonetheless.
Heather! thank you for the reply and the purchasing lead.... since i make my own i havent bought from anywhere else... but am always checking out new stuff :)!

I love making homemade products for use on myself and clients. I get a lot of my materials from www.snowdriftfarm.com
They also have a pretty good selection of essential oils and sometimes really good sales.
Thanks!
I just ordered lye for soap making from them. And some cedarwood EO... but i am not very impressed with the EO tho :( .... maybe its just that scent. hmm??? you like thier oils? i have heard nice things of them tho :)
thanks!

Hi Teena,

I'm just curious. What toxins in the body are you referring to? How do they get there? And how does your wrap remove them? Thanks
