So I thought I'd add a discussion, wondering what suggestions you have for preparing for a first Lomi class (my first will be in August with Gloria, and she has given us some prep techniques for preparing our bodies and minds).
I know that all Lomi classes are probably somewhat different in order to follow the paths of the participants, but thought some of you might be willing to talk a little bit about your experiences (can you tell I'm excited, lol?)
Coming with an open mind and heart helped me. There was a lot of yoga/stretching activity--so warming up for that would be a good idea. There are Lomi movement activities that will allow you to soar:)
If you like to dance, you will absolutely love what Lomi can move you into! Well... you will probably love it no matter what, but that was one of the things I loved, because I love to move my body. It is also a wonderful reminder to use our core body to perform massage and encourage good body mechanics.
