Which online scheduling works better for your clients--Schedulicity or GenBook?

I am curious to see how many therapists are utilizing online booking companies to enhance their businesses! Have you used these companies or another one? Have you had a good or bad experience? Most importantly, how do your clients like the "convenience" of booking appointments themselves?

If you would like more information on Schedulicity, just let me know and I can have someone contact you.  If you would like a personal web demo as well, just let me know.  I would be more than happy to provide that.  If I can help you with anything else, just let me know.  My email address is michael@schedulicity.com

Perfect!  As I mentioned before, if you'll give me some days and times that work for you, I'll set up a personal web demo.  I can then quickly show you all the tools that are available to both you AND your clients.

I look forward to receiving your email.

All the best,

Ayesha and all who are following this post:

There are many choices when it comes to Online Appointment Scheduling. Massage Therapists are Genbook's #1 customer type and I would also like to point out that Genbook is ABMP's Preferred Online Scheduling partner.

Hi Nancy,

Not saying anything bad about any service, all have pros and cons. I have used Schedulicity but had a problem with the Google Map feature that I could not get resolved even after contacting customer support. Tried Book Fresh, Appointy and others, but nothing worked as I wanted or my clients liked.  Ask your clients to see if they would use on-line scheduling.  Also, if cost is a factor, make sure the number of clients using the on line scheduling service will cover your cost for having it.  Most on line scheduling

compaines have a free trial period so I would suggest you do a google search and check them out.

Hopes this helps.

Be well

Don

I'm sorry to hear that your experience with Schedulicity was not what you hoped for.  I'll be sure to check with our support staff tomorrow to see if there was more we could have done to correct the issues with Google map.  Please let me know if there was anything else we could have done better.

Please let me know if I can assist in any other way at all.

Kindest regards,

Michael Wilson

Hi Nancy,
Check out web-appointments.com easy to set up and use, does a lot including sending a e-mail to you when someone books an appointment. Cost is $15.90 a month or you can purchase 3 months $35.70, 6 months 63.40, or 1 yr $118.80. Book Fresh is $19.95 a month, Schedulicity is $19.00 a month.

Hi Everyone, lots of sales talk going back and forth so I will spare everyone a sales pitch and just give you the straight away.

All these are great programs depending on your business needs and personal preferences.  I have worked for Appointment-Plus for 3 1/2 years.  I used to train clients on how to use the system, and I believe it's the best system out there but I am biased.  There are a few things you should know about Appointment-Plus before you make any decisions:

#1.  Appointment-Plus has been in business for 10 years.  We are an established company with a secure platform and a stable foundation.

#2.  We offer FREE training.  For 15 days you get a dedicated set-up coach who's sole purpose is to get you set up in the most efficient way possible for your business.

#3.  World class customer service.  We only hire the best and we hire selectively.  That's why we have a very high retention rate.  If you talk to Dawn on Tuesday, you can feel comfortable that if you call two years from now, you'll be able to talk to Dawn again and chances are she'll remember you and your company.

#4.  We have true text message reminders, a secure POS system that allows your clients to prepay for services, a robust reporting system, a customizable client view, a package system that tracks your clients sessions, add-on services (such as hot stone massage or additional 30 minutes) you can also use our POS system for products.

#5.  We have a rooms feature that allows multiple providers to share the same room.  So if you have 6 therapists and only 4 rooms, we can help with that!

I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have about the Appointment-Plus system and how it can help your business.  You can either e-mail me, or stop by our Facebook page.

Have a fantastic week!

Bookit Live is a great site with basic applications. They offer fantastic service, are cheap and look slick with website integration.

Mind Body Online are a little bit more expensive and for this you get a far more versatile platform that offers heaps of options.

For me the main issues are ease of setup, simple for clients to use, easy viewing of appts, reminder emails and support.

These guys both do well on my list

Regards

Jeff

Hi Ayesha,

You are correct in that we are more expensive for our base price than some of the other services you mentioned. However we are also a far more robust system with many more features and customization options available. We also provide you with free set-up and live training and support during your free trial. We also continue to have live support available once you are a paid subscriber.

We do service fortune 500 companies but truly the majority of our clients are small businesses and individuals.

Feel free to contact me for more information on what we offer.
