One of my best friend's is a nurse physician. She says she believes the soft tissue was greatly damaged, so it might take more than the usually 3-6 months. It is still very much inflamed, because the area is still warm upon touch. It does not hurt however. I have occasional nerve pain in the inner thigh, but it never lasts long.
Crap K-slice. I am sorry to hear about your stroke of bad luck! Far be it for me to diagnose but I think you are on the right track, you know your body better than anyone. The best course of action is R.I.C.E......rest- ice- light effleurage compression- elevation. Mix it up with a bit of heat therapy to help flush the dead cells out. Be sure to stay hydrated so as you work to remove the edema and bruising the interstitial tissue and lymph system can at their best. You also might try an herbalist, a mud pack and some of that nasty Chinese medicinal tea will amaze you. As far as the nerve damage goes SEE A DOCTOR!!!!! Keep us updated!
