I just browsed the Esalen website-wow! Unfortunately, the trip out west is out of my league right now...is there any way to learn the technique without traveling to Big Sur? Esalen sounds so "me" I'd love to learn more about it.
Where in california can I find how to learn to do Esalen Massage?
My experience was like most, through the DVD that you were in Robin. It really has spurred a lot of therapists to want to learn more about this caring massage. I incorporated so many of the moves from the tape into my regular routine. i would like to thank all of you at Esalen for what you have done.
It is going to be so great having you and Brita Ostrom teach this year at the Festival in KY. I hope therapists that are thinking about adding Esalen to their tool chest contact you and take many of your wonderful classes. Thank you for what you bring to the profession.
Hi Nyema, I think you would love the experience of taking Esalen from the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. If you can't spend 5 weeks on the coast and you live in the Bay Area and are willing to drive to Oakland, a 150 hour Esalen Massage Course will be offered June 10 to July 25, 2010 cost: $1,770.00 at McKinnon Massage School (aquisition of Body Therapy Center, Palo Alto, 2008). I believe Arthur Munyer and Char Pias are teaching. You'll love their method and enjoy the many techniques that you will add to your massage toolbox.

Hi Robin,
I just joined this site. That was a great class last winter in Big Sur, with you and Dean and the Japanese students. Hope to see you again
(soon). How's the baby?
