Hello. After 2 years of being in business and using a fabulous online booking site (genbook) and processing payments via my credit card machine I am considering streamlining to a system that allows for POS integration. My question to you is whether you have made that transition to integrate the booking system and the POS transactions into one (like spabooker, mindbody, appointment-plus...etc) and what you like or don't like about it? I will be hiring a subcontractor in a few months and am wondering whether it would in fact be easier to track all the data in one system. Up until now I have used my trusty quickbooks and Excel spreadsheets to track payments and figure my own pay after expenses. I have heard from a colleague that uses spabooker that she enjoys most of the features but can't necessarily trust the payroll aspect of it because it makes minor mistakes, so she ends up having to re-do the tracking (having a separate Excel spreadsheet for each therapist).
