massage and bodywork professionals

a community of practitioners

Hello therapists!  I've launched a new site that is focused on helping massage therapists keep records of their clients' visits called MassageCRM.  Personally, I think that it's very important to understand the history of your clients' pain and issues so that each time they come for a visit, you are prepared for an excellent session.

However, I wasn't thrilled with the idea of trying to find space for filing cabinets full of body charts in my house - so I created MassageCRM for my fiancee (I'm not a therapist, myself).  I am truly interested in keeping this software relevant and useful to massage therapists - so feedback on the application is more than welcome.

Please check out the software and add me as a friend.  I'll let you know when I make changes and update the site.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jason,

I am very interested in your software; however, I have one question....will it work on a MacBook Pro?

Thanks..

This looks very awesome so far...  I've migrated from the IT field and really looking for something that will meet not just my own massage therapy business needs but my techie needs as well....  Seems very "fluid" and "snappy"..... :)

Thanks Mark!  What kind of stuff did you do in IT?  I'm glad you find the site enjoyable to use.  I've been having so much fun with making a really polished product.  There's a lot I still want to do and that's also exciting.  Its a great project that I can really sink my teeth into and hopefully make something that makes a big difference.

Jason,

I'm a contractor and I've done everything from Project Management with TD Bank to to building servers and deploying them.  But, I'm looking forward to see what other (massage profession based) additions you will be adding....

Keep up the good work and I will definitely be more than will / able to kick the tires in any additions forthcoming...

Most definitely.  In fact, I developed the website using a MacBook Pro, so it will probably look best on your computer.  One of my favorite features is the body chart coloring tool that relies on an HTML5 capable browser.  Pretty much all up-to-date browsers will support HTML5 and that's really the only limitation.

It looks interesting and it would solve some problems I have keeping track of clients and appointments. Because of these problems I am considering upgrading to a smart phone. How does it perform with mobile browsers? Also how will I find time between clients to keep the data up? Ok that one is mine to find not yours. Great work, keep on going.

hahaha...I think your second question is what is keeping a lot of therapists from fully utilizing notes.  I'm glad you asked about the website on a smart phone.  The answer to your question is that it doesn't perform very well on a smartphone - but, I've got a mobile version of the application in the works that should provide a specialized interface specifically for tablets and smart phones.

The mobile site is coming, but first I wanted to make sure that the application itself is solid and functioning well.   You can actually use your phone to access MassageCRM right now, but it's pretty buggy.

Thanks, I just have a dumb phone and will check it out later. Today I have 8 hours booked straight, hope to have time soon to look. Hope you get the mobile version going soon.
