California license renewal with misdemeanor

I am licensed through the California Massage Therapy Council to practice MT. My license is up for renewal in April 2014. Last month I was charged with a misdemeanor that's unrelated to massage, the charge is non-sexual and non-violent in nature. What are the odds I will be unable to renew my license? If anyone has had a misdemeanor either in California or any state and had their license renewal approved / not approved that would be great to know about.
