What tips do you have for therapists that travel to client homes? As in how do you travel with your table? Break down? Storage? What do you take with you? Anything would be helpful. Thanks

Hi Kelly,

You had asked  very interesting and important question here. As i am also a Massage therapist , precisely said Acupuncturist, many client asked me to travel their home.My massage center is in  Massage Yonge & St. Clair . It is not always a good thing to go to client home for with so many equipments, but if you want take only necessary thing required not massage table etc. My massage center is in  Massage Yonge & St. Clair .

Pueppi, your reply is great!  Packed with information.  I can't think of anything to add. :-)

Yes, thank-you. That's exactly what I needed to know. I've done a couple house-calls for "clients" (my sister, a pregnant friend) so safety hasn't been a concern but it's as I've been packing and un-packing and setting stuff up that I realize I don't have a system in place that works for me. I like the trash bag idea for the sheets, I had one for dirty ones but I had just brought the clean ones in a clean duffel.

I forgot about this earlier; I was thinking of all the stuff I take with me and forgot what I take it in!  I bought one of these about 8 years ago:

It's pricey but it still looks and works like it's brand new.  It holds a bolster, and everything else I need to take with me.  I don't do outcalls at near the rate I used to, but I still use this bag any time I drive to a continuing education class (if I fly, I do something different).  My point in mentioning that is that it has multiple uses.

I was looking for the same advices.

looking forward for replies.

thank you so much for asking this
