I am signed up to take the MBLEx. Any hints or good study guides?
Hi group!
I am currently a student in Georgia. I have finished all of my massage classes, just have 2 classes left for my degree. I am eager to work under a professional to learn more. Any tips on how to approach business? I have cards, that say "student massage therapist" should I just pass those out?
Thanks for all your input.

Hi Felicha
Start networking as soon as you can.
Make sure you get some good continuing education classes too.
Do you have any idea where you want to work? Why type of setting?
Visit my blog:http://massagecareers.blogspot.com/
SOme helpful hints and videos I have put together.
Also Laura Allen a colleague has a great book out that she guarantees "One year to a successful practice"
It takes time to get it going, do not give up! I just heard a story from a very successful business owner about how many times it took her to get her first massage job. She was determined to work in a luxury spa. 5 interviews later her determination got her the position. Today she owns and manages several spas. Quite the success story.
I started out working with medical professionals. I had a background so that was very helpful.
Any questions, please feel free to ask me.
Much success!
