Bancroft School of Massage Therapy Worcester, MA
A very well respected massage school in New England region, whose teachers are very capable, proud and dedicated to share the knowledge that the learned from the school as alumni and from the professional world. I felt prepared and anxious to work when I reached graduation and I've met so many other talented graduates of the school since. This school is celebrating 60 years in business and is not part of a chain of schools but privately owned with styles and techniques that have been handed down throughout the years. Very affordable and well worth the cost. I am continually grateful still I found the right place to attend. If you are considering learning massage therapy I suggest you attend one of their 'Open House' invitations that they hold a couple times a year.

We offer a 510 hour certification program in massage therapy in two different formats. The weekend class program is twice yearly beginning in March and September. These classes meet every other weekend and complete in approximately 11 months. The day class program is offered in the fall and meets Mon-Thur and completes in approximately 7 months. We are the oldest privately owned massage school on the Gulf Coast - owned and operated by massage therapists. Please see our website for current pricing, class scheduling and complete information.

Himalayan Healers, Nepal
Kathmandu
www.HimalayanHealers.org

The Himalayan Healers Project, Nepal, is a Healing Arts School and collection of Spa Boutiques working to preserve the rich history of healing and energy work in the Himalayas, specifically for the benefit of sponsored students from the
"Untouchable" castes of Nepal.

It is the only project in the world that trains “Untouchables” in the Healing Arts.

Official "Sister" school with Ojai School of Massage. 500 hours of theoretical and practical training. Western techniques supplemented with Eastern modalities (Nepali massage, Newari post-natal massage, Ayurvedic massage, Shirodhara, Singing Bowl treatments, local poultice creation, and of course, yoga and meditation).

In 2010 Himalayan Healers is proud to begin offering training to International Students who are sincerely interested and committed to attending our Healing Arts School in Nepal. They will share the training experience with our Nepali students and staff in an intensive, on-site, culturally meaningful experience. International Volunteers will be provided the opportunity to volunteer on-site with our students or within the local village community.

All students and volunteers will be provided the opportunity to live on-site either at our Healing Arts School in the village (once constructed!), or at our Training Center located within Hotel Ambassador, Kathmandu.

Food, lodging, training, yoga, and community service opportunities will be provided in an all-inclusive package that affords an authentic, meaningful, and cultural experience coupled with complete immersion within the local Nepali community.

Himalayan Healers is an innovative, pioneering project – the first of it’s kind in the world. We are the only project that is directly addressing the issues of “Untouchability” via the instruction of Touch Therapies. This provides a level of healing on a personal and community level – in a peaceful manner – that is immeasurable.

Himalayan Healers also recognizes that Nepal is a nation of need – As such, we have open admissions and provide training and support to any and all. As a result, our training and employment has also focused upon assisting victims of human trafficking, victims of domestic violence, war widows, and others of profound need.
