AMTA - Il Chapter, 1 Day Summer Event in Springfield, IL - July 18th

Join us next Sunday, July 18th in Springfield, IL, for the AMTA-IL Summer Education Event! Cost is $70 for AMTA members, $95 for non-members. Visit www.amta-il.org to register. CE's will be awarded.

7:30 AM - Registration/check-in
8:30 AM - Ethics course, Rick Hayhurst of Body Biz, Instructor
11:30 AM - Lunch is provided (make box lunch selection when registering online)
1:00-5PM - Pillossage ® course, Karen Kowal RN, LMT of Mother Earth Pillows, Instructor

Yeah I want to go to this and was trying to get some info on CEU's for this course in springfield and emailed AMTA and never received anything back. so if anyone knows what ceus this is worth please let me know and are there?

Tracy, yes you will earn CE's, I believe 3 for Ethics and 4 general. I have requested clarification, upon that response I will let you know and post on this discussion. You can register at www.amta-il.org

Hello Tracy,

I wanted to let you know that Stephanie is correct. There 3 hours of CE's being offered in Ethics (Presented by Rick Hayhurst), and a 4 hour hands-on class. If you go to the amta-il.org website, you can register online.

Hello again

I am interested in taking this ethics course and it says 3 for ethics and 4 general so would that be 7 all together or when i got to turn those in would they only count the 3 for ethics and would i still need 3 more to complete the 6 credits to full fill that requirement? if someone could let me know this.

Unfortuntely this event was just cancelled, due to low enrollment. I do believe the AMTA has all intentions to reschedule, hopefully by end of the year. Body Biz will be offering classes at LLCC, if you'd like to provide me your email address I can send you notices directly. Or stay tuned to the Body Biz group for updates.

thanks for letting me know about this class to bad it got cancelled, I was really interested in taking it, However, I am looking forward to future classes asap as i need to recertify my NCTMB next month and need to get as many classes in as i can between now and then. so here is my email if you can let me know when LLCC will be having classes again thanks so much. tracydimond@sbcglobal.net.
