The video below is Lorimer Moseley. Explaining how over excitement of certain pain neurons becomes extreamly difficult to switch off (normalise) in cases of chronic pain.

As massage therapists our techniques can generate enough excitement of pleasurable neural pathways that help normalise the over exciteted pain pathways, offering an explaination of how massage helps clients that suffer  chronic pain.

Knowing your left from your right is vitaly important and can indicate how well your motor system recognises itself. In cases of chronic pain the brain needs to be able to correctly rebalance  incorrect impressions. We already do this with so many standard massage techniques but how to measure this?  Take the test for yourself below...........its not as easy as you might think.....I like it:)
