Erica, the thank-you note has already been posted and the ofifce manager who brought me in is already a regular client of mine. I gave her a complimentary table session as a thank-you. A couple ladies live on the other side of the county & I emailed contact information to them about therapists closer to their homes. Do you have other suggestions?

Had twelve people on the chair yesterday, 15-20 minutes each. After that, three "special needs" regulars on the table back at my office. I'm pretty fried today, and the boatload of cash was certainly worth the effort. A few of the chair clients could turn into table clients if they liked me enough in retrospect...here's hoping! They were raving when I left, but whoever knows if it's just lip service. I tempted them with mints so they would call me back...

Days like today really make me appreciate why I became a therapist in the first place. I have a client with a brain tumor that I started working on about 4 months ago. Last week she had yet another check up by her Doc. He was astounded by the changes he was seeing and her decrease in pain, migraines, swelling, etc. So, he tells her that he's going to take her off the pain meds and possibly the steroids in the near future if she keeps progressing. He asks her what she has done differently and she tells him that she has started receiving regular massage. He tells her to keep it up and if in 3 months she is still progressing, he will further decrease the meds, and personally involve the insurance company to get her massages covered as a "valuable treatment method". Cherry on my day.

Thanks! The top flower is the mom, looking down on her little flower (her daughter in-utero), and the bud represents a possible (likely) future child. She was very happy with it and says she's going to be showing it off in her yoga class today. :)
