Not surprised. My wife is in that industry and she says that scrapbooking customers are some of the tightest people she has ever met. One of her many involvements is working at a store part time and she has had ladies gripe about a piece of paper costing 3cents more than what they thought it should. She told me never work a scrapbooking event...the results would be like yours Marilyn.

Marilyn - that's annoying.
Had you to turn away your table business to be there?

Sorry, I have to vent about a chair gig I did today. It was for a scrapbokking event, 120 people. Since I've always heard that scrapbookers love having massage at their events, I jumped at the chance. So, eight hours later, how many people were interested in enjoying a wonderful chair massage (if I do say so myself)??? Ten. The woman who was there waxing eyebrows, however, had a full sign-up sheet & was busy all day. Feeling a bit stupid here...!

hahahaha "slow and sloppy"....i'm not sure i can follow that one up. sex on the beach perhaps? :)

slow and sloppy is good....wait, are we still talking about drinking? back to short track and ice water...

Stephen, please share some of the lukewarm stuff with me ~ the darker, the better; or Green King if you have it...or on second (okay, third) thought, who could turn down a beverage called Old Peculiar? Heck with the 190 proof slam-bang, slow & sloppy is way more fun. Going back to watch the short track & my cuppa tea before I get myself into trouble here...

Stephen, Choice,
Wow 190 proof I'd definately have to lay down a protective layer of warm beer first before tipping in any of that stuff !!

Back in college I lived across the hall from a guy from Loouvull (Louisville), Kentucky. He brought back from home some genuine Kentucky moonshine -- 190 proof in a plastic milk bottle.

The first taste melted my nose hairs. I imagine that if I had downed more than a couple of sips it would have quit tasting like paint thinner. Either that or all my taste buds would have been eaten away.
Comment by Choice Kinchen on February 25, 2010 at 9:54pm
Erica, how much do you have to drink before moonshine doesn't taste like paint thinner? I've worked around paint thinner, but I've never thought to taste it....hahahaha Maybe it goes with white school paste sandwiches

Terry, as long as it's not the Ned Beatty two step.

Marilyn....doesn't Stephen just drink lukewarm beer? Aahh, there I go profiling again
