Marissa!! That's great news!! I swear there's something in the Illinois water...it's raining babies in Chicago. That pool idea is the best, I remember doing that during my last month (August) every day after work.

I'm here (in Chicago) visiting my daughter this week & watching 2 week-old Dylan grow (and eat and eat!) since the chiro office where I work a lot is closed for a couple days...a golden opportunity for travel without having to reschedule anybody.

Lisa, I've been thinking of you too. Give us all a wink & a wave, we worry. Hope things are getting better there for all of you.

Hope the rest of you have a wonderful week!

So, my Hubby is not broken! My due date is September 25th. I plan on spending that 3rd trimester (July-Sept) in the pool! ;)

Loved seeing it in 3D but the long war scenes just turned me off. Did he steal the stroy from Furngulley?? mixed feelings about this one

I heard all the same things about seeing it in 3D at IMAX...haven't seen it myself yet and plan to go this week sometime.

We saw Avatar a few weeks ago...regular theater screen. Good movie. Last Sunday we went to see it in 3-D on the IMAX screen. Holy s***. You feel like you're actually in the movie. You catch yourself reflexively reacting to some of the special effects....awesome.

The film is in 3-D, so the images that you've seen in T.V. stories are incredibly better in the theater.

The special effects are impressive. A large portion of the movie is CGI (computer-generated images), and the new techniques that were used in Avatar let you forget you're watching animation while they bring the spectacular planet of Pandora to life, But what makes Avatar so good is that, like with Star Wars the special effects are used to tell the story rather than being used _instead_ of a story.
