Marissa = 3's it is - another client lost his Mum. She'd been sick for a long time. THAT'S IT. The 3 is now done.
Marilyn - I hope everything goes great! Congrats!

Oh no!! Vlad has a good point, I've seen this happen before too. I'm sure there is not much you & hubby have not already thought of...my best advice might be..."practice makes perfect" & massage your accupressure points a lot. Beyond interventions of one sort or another, I'm afraid I'm clueless, but I wish you well (& pregnant!)

Speaking of which...I am leaving for Chicago in a moment because my daughter is in labor. This day has been like Mr.Toad's wild ride! Please send good thoughts her way...

Anyone familiar with the phrase, "Bad things happen in 3s"?

Vlad- So sorry that you have to deal with that, but I can imagine you are just one of those people that a hug from makes things look significantly brighter!

Marilyn- I'm in that group too! My hubby thinks he's broken! :)

Cheers, Marilyn.
Are any of them so anxious over trying to get pregnant that you think that might be interfering with the goal? I know a couple of couples that "gave up" and once they gave up they got pregnant.

That must have been a really hard dynamic...so sad for her, and for you having dealt with the same situation before. Wishing light & love to you & counting my blessings too.

These last few months I've seen about six young ladies who really want to be pregnant and can't conceive, a couple of them have been working on it for over 5 years. I was reminded when you said "freaky" -- cuz it almost seems like there's some sort of birth control toxin in the water around the office.

OK...so you know the way one of my clients lost a son before Christmas? Well, I think there's something mega-freaky going on since another client lost her son too - suicide this time, which is a million times worse. I held it together when she came in for a massage today, starting off with a mega hug that lasted about 4 minutes.

Man, I tell you what , it makes you glad for your blessings.

Woo-Hoo! Mini-goofy dance allowed! Those are the ones that you have to celebrate!

Side note: My week is finally over. I've my first glass of Orange Moscato at hand and a smile starting to form.

Glad you mentioned this--I had a neat experience today that I just have to share with somebody... One of my "sometimes" clients came in to see the chiro I work with because she somehow injured herself. As I was saying good-bye to another client, I heard her booking a massage appointment for next week. Since I may have to go out of town at the last minute (my daughter will be giving birth any minute) it was suggested that she book with the other therapist if that should happen...and the client said, to a waiting room full of people, that she only wanted to let me work on her and would be willing to wait because I was so fantastic! Golly, what an ego boost. The really neat thing was, she didn't know I was listening just around the corner! Some days are really, really great. I should also mention, this particular client is one of those difficult people for whom I wondered if anybody could do it "right." :o)
