My favorite burn stuff is an awesome Chinese ointment. It stops the heat from penetrating further and is a great heal-all. Greg keeps some in his catering kitchen, too.
Most of the time I shrug 'em off, but if I get a nasty brand that keeps feeling firey or raises a blister, I'll throw some ointment on for a day or two. It smells really earthy.
Oh--and I'm not going to make it to Vail. The gal that had said she'd cover my shift woke up with the sniffles today and got worse during the day. I can't find anyone to cover, either. Oh well. Probably better this way.

Looks like I'm getting paid to spin fire at a gig in Vail. Nice chunk o' change, but ~4 hours round trip travel, 2.5 hours performing in the cold, and (at this point) no lodging . . . well, it's still good money.

Eeris- It was titled "Making the Most of Your Massage". You were talking about maintenance, stretching, exercise... 'Maintaining a schedule, so the body becomes conditioned and is prepared for a session at specific intervals'. I'm an ABMP member and it is set as one of their featured articles to choose from when customizing client newsletters. I stared reading it and then saw that you contributed and said that that was it! It had to be my main article for Jan/Feb. Like I said, really cool to be able to "place" people.
