Have yourselves an absolutly wonderful Christmas.

I've found myself some real good people (and a squirill ) in a great big country I've never been to before.

Thanks friends

Ooh, sounds nifty! I've a friend of mine that worked at a factory making scrubs, bath salts, lotions, and whatnot. I've asked if she can make me some body butters. I've found some good-sounding recipes in a modern homesteading book from the library, too.

Separate note: I'm such a dork. Yes, I know you all know. My husband is calling me a business whore. :) I like the ring it has, actually. I've been leaving business cards everywhere. Even in the drawer at the drive up window of my bank! *cackles w/ glee* ~that's for you Erica.
And I spent a fortune on liquid gold (100% organic unrefined Jojoba oil), organic herbs, organic essential oils, dead sea salts....I'm going to spend the next week or two doing some kitchen chemistry making my own scrubs and rubs! Anyone want to join the fun?!?! :)

So, today is pretty much Friday, oui? What's on everyone's agendas for the holidays? We have to trek to my sister-in-law's house on Christmas Eve. I still can't wait to start fielding questions to my 4 year old on why she has 2 aunts. ;) Then the mother-in-law's house Christmas day. I can then go an entire month or two before having to play nice. Actually, they're not bad, it's just overkill. Anyone else going to have as much fun as I am?!?!?
Lisa- looks like your ahead of the curve and winning this race. Just keep brightening your twinkling spirit! This too shall pass.

that's really sad news Vlad. :( my heart and prayers go out there to her.

Stephen i ask myself that all the time...but not just xmas, rather lots of "special" days seem to come with bad news.

we are having a very hard xmas this year. work has been manic and extremely demanding and draining. and on top of that my daughter's b/f broke up with her yet again. basically in 2 weeks time they went from him giving her a diamond promise ring to breaking up getting back together a couple days later then only to break up with her again 4 days later. all a few days before her birthday and xmas. it is very sad her. my heart is deep with sorry for her. he was her first boyfriend and they had been together for almost 9 months.

money is tight, stress levels are high and we're dealing with a broken heart. luckily my son is happy go lucky and looking forward to xmas. so atleast we have a little twinkling spirit. :)

Vlad, that's so sad! Wow. I have trouble working on regular clients when they are in such despair, it's like touching a completely different person because they feel so broken...it always does them a lot of good, though. It's hard not to cry with them and just focus on the therapy sometimes. Thinking of you.

Crap. Just got some bad news. One of my weekly regulars just emailed me and her son died. He was 29. Everyone give your loved ones a big kiss and a hug tonight.

Ah! Another gut-shot comrade! I have a history of Crohn's--cost my large intestine, but boy, was it ever worth it.

Erica - know about the digestive thing. I've got UC that flares up every now and then and I can't tell what causes it. It's not spuds though. Spuds are good.
Marissa - as for our tails. They're erect most of the time, but we can make them flat on demand through thought alone - we just think of Kirk Douglas naked.
