*shrug* I figure that if people are going to deliberately involve themselves in a fringe/esoteric activity, they better develop thick skins pretty quickly. Letting your buttons get pushed doesn't help at all. It's like the old saying about the futility of wrestling with a pig--you get dirty, and the pig gets happy.

Emma, I like to stick my hands under hot water and start rubbing and massaging them, making sure to stretch and knead each finger. I then gradually turn up the heat until the water is steaming. When I'm done, my hands are a nice rosy pink and they are very warm. I do this before a client a lot but it is especially good for after...when your hands might ache, esp. when the weather outside is so freakin' cold. Then I make a drink and warm the insides.

Stephen, no matter how much I might drink, I will NEVER...and I mean NEVER ask you to brush yourself against me. My nuts are my own. hahahahahahaha...well, my wife can ask for them whenever she wants.

This is still the rowdy group, right?

Lisa how come you always say what I want to say only better and more politely ??

Erica, yes we need all the ammo we can get for EBP and I dont expect the personalitys of the sceintific community to be perfect ( as in any group ) but he's fast losing the ability to be tolorated by persuing a twisted physco/logic game.

Personaly I've had it with this guy !

Lets hope he can start engaging in way that profits us all rather than massaging his ego.

It is soooo cold this morning.I have a hard time warming my hands up when it's this cold.I have these spa mittens that you warm up in the microwave,I put them on my hands about 10 min. before my first client.
Ever have a client with feet so cold they suck the heat out of your hands?
Burrr,Lisa you are missing this!

I find myself biting my tongue real hard when Chris (who isn't an MT by the way) seems to arrive in many discussions just to push buttons on our right-brained contributions (which I'm quite sure he would disagree with, he says he is a psychologist...and on a site that seems to have been deleted, he also told me directly he was a physicist, so...) I guess we have to try to remember to be productive here where it's fun, at least, and hope Vlad can manage him if he stops by here...something tells me he's not too rowdy. I bet our methods and attitudes about healing are way more productive than the more intellectual ones!

Comrades. Off topic here, I've had a long day of impaling. I'm knackered AND I could eat the butt of a skunk, but I won't because I'm not a carnivore. Anyone got any nuts? Stephen? Would you give me yours?

Erica - I agree that people can and should question the existence of things. Hell i believe in life on other planets (not to trivialize the conversation).

However Chris knew what words he was choosing. He's a smart guy. You don't get very far when you question something abrasively and in the wrong setting. He knows this. How he chose to voice his opinion is quite different than the first go around. He also chose to voice that opinion in a thread that just wasn't fitting to voice it.

Unlike NOW, where he's gone ahead and invited/initiated the discussion, the first go around it was in a random thread of a girl looking to want to find more about it in her local area (if i'm not mistaken). Her request was for local information, not for philosophical debate. And again, Chis is an intelligent man. He knew what he was doing and by doing such, he IMO ends up pushing people away from the discussion, instead of like now, rallying the discussion.
