Lisa that made me laugh, the old dont brush so hard ......Anyways you have fun on the dating site ya just never know.........I been doing some here and you only got to look at their sad faces to know they aint got it....there's alot of single people around and you just never know!!! ........at least you wont have to go out and get yourself a flat tyre lol ? as for starting a MT dating site you could be on to a winner there !

aaaawww thanks Choice. i suppose the real reason i'm on a dating site is that as a single mom, full time graphic designer, part time MT...i don't really get out very often. and the few evenings i give to myself...i.e. work around my teenage daughter's social life so she can watch her brother...i tend to gravitate to the comforts of my friend's house than "going out". which is probably stupid because both my friends are either married or with girlfriend. but they are my comfort zone. i've been a year and a half in TX and i'm just not certain where i would even "go out" and then the thought of going alone just doesn't appeal to me. so i migrate to these dating sites. until i'm on them for a month or so and realize WTF am i doing here? hahaha
i was reading a thread on one of my moutain bike forums. someone started a thread about match.com. it amazed me how many had actual met their current g/f or wife through a dating site. someone posted up this free one so i got suckered into joinging.
it can be rather comical to watch these guys trying to show they got game. :) they don't realize for someone like me...i need WAY more intellectual stimulation than that. but on a late night where i'm fighting to put in more work hours...they make an entertaining distraction. at least this one's FREE.
i'm thinking i should start a "singles MT" group. hahaha maybe i need to start my own "dating" site in order to find what i'm lookin for. ;)

Stephen...So do you have your own stool at the pub? Maybe they could let you put up a cot in the back?

i just signed up for this free dating site. after a couple of interactions with 2 members i'm reminded as to WHY i don't like dating sites. :) hahahaha
well i can still get in 5.5 hours if i shut my eyes in 5...4...3...2 zzzzzzzzzzz

Nah, no hard feelings. It led to my sister and I being extremely independent. When I needed help, my then-boyfriend (future ex-husband) and his family were always there for me. When my sister needed help, I was always there for her.
In fact, I think they're a pretty marvelous example. A bit of a tough act to follow, y'know, but rather supportive of me Doing My Own Thing.
