My parents did something like that!
By the time my younger sister graduated from high school, my father had retired (was working part-time) and they'd sold the house and were living in a rental. Within three weeks of my sister's graduation, my mom retired (schoolteacher), my sister and I moved into a duplex, my parents sold everything or put it into storage, and promptly moved 2000 miles away to live on their sailboat. Within six months, they'd left the country, and spent most of the next 15 years sailing the Pacific.
I like to joke about how we didn't leave the nest--the nest left us!

I agree...have your boys go to the pub. Have the barkeep keep them there for most of the nite, with drinks, girls, whatever. Then, while they're there, you quickly pack up and move....and leave no forwarding address. Move to a small place so no one can stay with you, in case they use the internet and find out where you are. Just a plan :)

The good thing about getting through the raising of teenagers..and having them move away...is that now you drink cause you WANT to, not cause you HAVE to.
