Sorry. Was off making dinner for the neighbors, splitting a glass of wine, and hot tubbing under the stars. Now too noodly for rowdiness. Besides, I have to work tomorrow.

My folks moved up there in '78; I moved to Colorado in 2001, but my sister & brother-in-law still live there. He works for the union at the PAC, doing rigging for the theater.

Erica! I used to live in Anchorage too! I played in the symphony & managed a veterinary hospital there for a couple years. I still miss it, life was good (well, it still is, but there aren't mountains in MI.)
RolyPoly Fish heads! Yes! As for MTV & before...what about when there was no cable TV at all? Just sayin'.... ;o( (kindly humor the old person!)

Yup. I remember MTV when it first started. I lived too far up the hill in Anchorage to get cable, though, so I always jonesed whenever I went over to my friends' houses.
Trivia question: what was the first video played on MTV?

i remember when MTV was new. as a visual person i LOVED it!! :) i enjoy looking at something while i'm listening to a song. when done well it can really move you or make you think.
