Cheers for the compliments guys but I'm back to my old self again, phewww.

It's been manic here, usually gets a little quieter at the end of the month but not October for some reason. Good to be busy but it does mean I'm shattered at the end of the day and no brain left working to log in here with you lovely people.

Emma that sounded like a great day off, have you ever though of making chilli biscuits? I know chilli chocolate is great, it could work?? I'll be your taster

Do you do the whole clock changing thing in the US, here we just had to change our clocks last Saturday and now it's sooo dark at night.

Hey Eeris, nice to have you back!

Emma--
I made him a pair of white/silver glitter chaps and vest out of some sequined fabric a few years ago. He's got a white cowboy hat and a bolo with a gold sparkly bull's head, plus his hair is blue right now. He may wind up temp coloring his goatee, too.

I'll be wearing a black slip, double-breasted pinstripe suit jacket, fishnets, knee-high patent leather boots, a pair of black and silver garters with a cap pistol tucked into one, and a fedora with a rose in it.

We're going as the Space Cowboy and the Gangster of Love. *grin*

Firespinning show at Strawberry Hot Springs tonight--I really don't want to go, but I promised a friend I would. The sweetie and I are thinking about going to a costume contest tomorrow night. Canning stew and chili today and smoking some goat brisket and ribs this weekend.

Yeah, Rosemary's being responsible. She's been really busy and came to the conclusion that she was spending way too much time on here. So, she is putting work first and coming here on down time. From what I gathered, she's not having a whole lot of down time. Wish I were so busy!

Hey Eeris of course we missed ya, we just assumed as you snowed in you must be blues dancin all day and not talkin to us? Lets see your hallomean costume then?

Get this! last year people were out sledgin on snow in the park, this year they sitting in the park having a picnic in the warm sunshine! The Autum weather in London has been beautifully mild.

Of course we missed you, Eeris ~ I actually thought about you (& you other friends!) "out-West" in all that snow they're talking about on TV tonight. Hope everyone follows Erica's lead for staying cozy. We have had frost so far in Michigan, and hope the ice doesn't manifast for awhile...it's pretty, but driving the 14 miles to the office on back roads can get interesting!

Great pix, Trevor! I agree with Emma. With a little fur, you could even pass for Yoda.

Marissa, two is the magic number for the week for me, too! One at 9, two more at 4:30 sort-of-thing EVERY day so far...then four back-to-back on Saturday. It's all good, just could be more convenient.

Speaking of absent people, has anyone talked with Rosemary or Samantha lately? Hope they're okay.

And yet, here in the mountains it's just been raw, nasty, and windy the last couple of days. First soak in the tub this winter with a good book was tonight. It helped me warm up, but now I'm chilly again. One of these years I'll get around to making some decent insulators for the windows!
