So, I originally lost about 80 pounds. Then over the last year, I got lazy. No sugar coating this. LAZY! I literally stopped everything all at the same time. Exercising, watching what I eat, drinking enough water....EVERYTHING! Now you would think that a person who got control wouldn't lose it, correct? Wrong. The sad part is there was no "trigger". I just got lazy. So, here I go again. I'm going to use this as my personal log. Each day I plan on blogging what I ate, how I exercised, how I feel, and at the end of each week I'll post my loss or gain. I played with this for awhile on here, but now I have the "bug" and will actually do it. My doctor told me at my last physical that if I got to 170lbs. I would be at my "ideal weight". I'm going to give it my best! Please feel free to comment or just enjoy the ride. And if you feel inspired..... there's an "Add Discussion" box right below. :)

I was unable to go to Pilates this evening. My hubby had to work late. Yeah pay check! Boo no Pilates! Tomorrow I'm hopping on the Elliptical to get back in to Interval training. Prepare for mega screeching about my glutes by Friday!

Breakfast: cereal bar, banana, coffee w ff creamer
Lunch: Turkey sub w/ all veggies, lite mayo (microscopic amount)
Snack: almonds, pineapple
Dinner: salad w/ lite dressing, chicken thigh w/o skin, 1/2 cup red beans and rice
Snack: orange
Water: 96 ounces

Note: Still working through all the food in the house that nobody else will eat, except me. Labor intensive process, but I've been to the grocery store a couple of times and have not replenished those "forbidden" items. I'm hoping next week's postings will look a little healthier and less bread intensive. :( So very sad.

I'm not going to even list the food intake today, because it is the same as the past few days. Waste not, want not. I can't wait to finally be done with all the left overs and go shop for something new!

Exercise: 4.91 miles in 20 minutes (interval) on the elliptical. Each time will improve.

So, same old on the food situation. Getting tired. As for the exercise routine: I think I have finally worked out the Pilates situation. We are going to meet every Monday for a private session. Wednesday and Friday will be for Yoga, Tues, Thurs, Sat will be for elliptical work. Oh, and no screeching glute pain. My calves are killing me though!

Sundays are free! Talk to you all on Monday! Have a great weekend!
Interesting would be the word. I haven't posted anything for a few reasons. No change at this time. I'm eating better, but having the time to exercise like I want to is a major challenge. There are a few things going on that I will be posting about soon. My whole perspective is about to change, again. Stay tuned....

how is it all going? how are you feeling?

love to hear an update and hope you are well
I really have been eating very very well. It is the lack of exercise that is killing me. I know once the weather gets better and I can get outside more, it will help me get motivated, but God do I hate the treadmill! It sits there mocking me. :P
Friends, my journey is still on. However, I have taken another path. I have found out that we are expecting our second child this September. We have been trying, so it is not a shock to the system. :) So, I have been eating very well, but just taking things easy in this first trimester. I have picked up a pre-natal yoga DVD that I am very excited to start in my second trimester. I suppose I could start now, but I am a little "Old School" about not rocking the boat in the first 12 weeks. I am being urged by a few friends to start a blog about this experience. We shall see what happens.
Thanks! The "official" date is September 25th. It's going to be a long hot summer! :) The plan is: get everything done now and spend all summer in the pool!
wow congratulations a little late for some reason I have not been getting the e-mail someone had wrote a comment on this group so I did not think to check it sorry I hit buttons sometimes with out knowing I hit them lol. I hope the pregnancy is going great and good luck with everything. I think I fixed the problem with not getting updates I won't know tell I log in again.
